Informal social evenings are arranged in various locations around Montreal almost every month. This is a great way for members to keep in touch with on-going activities, make presentations, and to welcome and meet new or potential members to the club with similar interests. So don't be shy, we'd love to see you!

The two major social events of the year are the barbecue at Keene Farm in September, and the Annual General Meeting (AGM), dinner, and slide show presentation in December.

Other social events include work/party weekends at Keene as well as a schedule of group meals and work-days at the ski house.

Socials typically begin at 7:00 pm and the presentation starts at 8:00 pm. We extend an invitation to everyone, members and non-members alike. People bring a light snack or beverage to share with others.

The annual Keene Farm BBQ is our signature event, with about 80 members, family and friends attending. It is typically held on the third Saturday of September starting around 4:00PM. It is a relaxed day, and a joint volunteer effort to make a marvelous meal, with delectable desserts, bountiful beverages, campfire songs and stories. What better way to spend an early fall evening!

Our annual Annual General Meeting is that and much more, with dinner and a great slide show presentation. The business side of the meeting includes reports from the executive and a ringing in of the new executive for the upcoming year.
